Player name: Lei Wu

Nationality: China

Club (mentioned): RCD Espanyol

Notes:

• I could not find widely available records of a Chinese player named Lei Wu appearing for RCD Espanyol's first team in major competitions (La Liga, Copa del Rey, UEFA competitions) up to my knowledge cutoff in June 2024. It's possible this player:
  • played for a youth or reserve team (Espanyol B or academy),
  • had a trial or short-term training stint,
  • is a recent signing after my cutoff, or
  • is recorded under a different romanization or name order (e.g., Wu Lei — a well-known Chinese international who played for Espanyol).
• Important distinction: Wu Lei (surname Wu, given name Lei) is a prominent Chinese forward who transferred to RCD Espanyol in January 2019 and played for their first team in La Liga. If you meant that player, the correct common rendering is "Wu Lei" rather than "Lei Wu."

If you meant Wu Lei (the well-known Chinese international):

• Full name: Wu Lei
• Nationality: China
• Position: Forward / Winger
• Espanyol: Joined January 2019 from Shanghai SIPG, made appearances in La Liga and scored for the club.

Data limitations: My information is current through June 2024. For confirmation of a player named "Lei Wu" associated with Espanyol after that date or for youth/reserve details, consult Espanyol's official site, match reports, or contemporary databases (Transfermarkt, Soccerway, club announcements).
